I'm one of the few veterinarians board-certified in both nutrition and sports medicine/rehabilitation, and a Clinical Professor at the University of Florida. My work connects nutrition, mobility, integrative medicine, and the science of how dogs and cats age.

The goal is not just more time. It is more good time — more comfort, more movement, more joy, and more ordinary days that still feel whole.

Explore each areaWhat healthy years in dogs and cats actually depend on, and what the new wave of pet longevity claims gets right and wrong.
Minimally processed diets, home-prepared food, and rigorous formulation review.
Movement is one of the clearest expressions of healthy aging, and one of the most underused levers. Predominantly canine work.
Evidence-informed integration of acupuncture, rehabilitation, and nutrition alongside conventional care.

The work
The most important work in companion-animal medicine is not just extending lifespan. It is extending the years of full function. Nutrition, mobility, integrative care, and thoughtfully formulated supplements all converge on the same question: how do we help dogs and cats age well?
That thread runs through the work below: research, consulting, teaching, and the products I help formulate.
